Reindeer Rap

We fly through the night, like we know that we should,

To bring you presents, and make Santa look good.

We want you to know that we just don't get it,

We do all the work, while Santa gets the credit.

Chorus:  girls:  We are the ones
    boys: -we pull the sleigh

    girls: We are the ones
    boys: -no time to play

    girls: We are the ones
    boys: -hip hip hooray

girls: There's Dasher, and Dancer, and Prancer, and Vixen,

boys: Comet, and Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen.

We even have a stand-by who everyone knows,

Charlotte:My name is Rudolph, with the bright red nose.

Chorus:  girls:  We are the ones
    boys: -we pull the sleigh

    girls: We are the ones
    boys: -no time to play

    girls: We are the ones
    boys: -hip hip hooray

You know what it's like, pulling the Claus?

He grows bigger and bigger…we want the  applause
Don't get us wrong, he's a really nice guy,

we all enjoy flying through the sky.

We want the praise... we deserve

and ignoring us takes a lot of nerve.

Chorus:  girls:  We are the ones
    boys: -we pull the sleigh

    girls: We are the ones
    boys: -no time to play

    girls: We are the ones
    boys: -hip hip hooray

It’s not easy, although he’s our mate,

We work so hard making Santa look great!

On Christmas Eve when you close your eyes tight,

Think of us we’ve been flying all night.

Chorus:  girls:  We are the ones
    boys: -we pull the sleigh

    girls: We are the ones
    boys: -no time to play

    girls: We are the ones
    boys: -hip hip (click click)
     hip hip (click click)

girls and boys:   hip hip  hooray!!!
